The evolution of the energy sector requires increasingly specialized reinsurance solutions, capable of adapting to interdependent risks and highly complex technical scenarios. I would like to sincerely thank the organizers for hosting such a well-structured and timely forum. Participating in this event not only allows us to strengthen joint analysis with our international peers but also provides a great opportunity to connect with regional insurance companies and brokers. This exchange is essential to anticipate trends that directly impact the sustainability of coverage for strategic assets” said Aleksandr Mazhorov, Head of Overseas Treaty Business, Active Re.

The forum, held from May 4 to 6 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, brought together leaders from the insurance and reinsurance ecosystem, as well as multilateral entities focused on maintaining stability in the insurance of critical sectors.

In parallel, the FAIR Steering Committee held its official meeting to review the Secretary General’s report on the Federation’s activities and to define upcoming strategic actions. Bilateral meetings were also held between reinsurers and market counterparts, aimed at exploring new collaboration opportunities amid the changing global risk environment.

Active Re’s presence at this event reaffirms its focus on rigorous technical underwriting, regional capacity building, and the consolidation of partnerships that add value in high-exposure environments such as the energy sector.
