ACTIVE RE PARTICIPATES IN THE 2025 AMIS INSURERS CONVENTION

Mexico City, May 2025 – Active Re participated in the 2025 Insurance Convention, "Insurance in Motion: Innovation, Connectivity, and Inclusion", organized by the Mexican Association of Insurance Institutions (AMIS). This event is one of the most relevant industry forums in the region, bringing together insurance leaders to analyze the key challenges and opportunities facing the market.
Representing the company, Mario Carrillo, Head of Personal Lines, attended the event held in Mexico. Main topics discussed during the sessions included the impact of artificial intelligence on the industry, risks related to climate change, and the need to transform business models in an increasingly complex environment.
In her remarks, Norma Alicia Rosas, Director General of AMIS, projected 8.6% growth for the industry in 2025, highlighting the dynamism of the Life insurance segment, which is expected to grow by 13.2% this year.
